Å·²©ÌåÓýƽ̨ certification of preflight for containers can be time-intensive, especially when testing at scale. This blog explores how leveraging Ansible's asynchronous processing and parallel execution can optimize Red Hat's certification workflows. By integrating these features into Distributed-CI (DCI), tasks such as CVE scanning, testing, and report submission can be executed in parallel, reducing certification times by up to 74% when tested with 20 container images. We provide insights into implementing these enhancements for efficient, large-scale CNF testing, aligning with Kubernetes best practices.

In this blog post, we will share some recommendations and good practices followed by the Telco Partner CI team for partners and internal Red Hat teams working with these partners to prepare OpenShift workloads for certification. Å·²©ÌåÓýƽ̨ suggested process or workflow can be easily replicated in the collaboration between partners and Red Hat teams. We will show you, as part of the implementation of this workflow, how you can automate the report and analysis of preflight and CNF Certification tests launched with Distributed-CI (DCI) using spreadsheets to gather all the results and to check the evolution of the tests results. Å·²©ÌåÓýƽ̨se tools would be eventually useful for Red Hat teams to follow up the certification process with the partner and also to justify exception requests based on what is observed in the support tools.
